Episode 08: 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'

"You know what else has bad writing?"

Welcome back! This week, the guys talk about 'We Are What We Are', the film where the wife dies in a puddle in the first ten minutes. They also give a preliminary review of 'Black Adder' ("basically Johnny English twerking all over British history"). But the main attraction, of course, is 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'. Spoilers it's not great, and somebody important dies. (You guessed it: Chris Cooper.)

Meanwhile, Jon will espouse his love for Parker Posey, and Joel will idolize Dane DeHaan. What Joel finds lackluster in 'TAS2's 'TASM2's narrative, he makes up for with Hans Zimmer's soundtrack. Then Jon will ramble on about Peter Parker as an emo automaton, as well as clairvoyant heroines. It's just another day for J&J.
