Episode 15: 'True Detective', Season One

Welcome to episode fifteen of J&J! On this landmark episode, the J's watch 'Jersey Boys' watch 'Think Like a Man Too' go all HBO with the hit TV show 'True Detective', season the first! And they don't regret it. Nihilism and freshman works are the topics of the week, with a few splashes of religious irreverence.

But first, the guys went to see their local production of 'Les Misérables', one the of highest regarded and longest-running Broadway shows of all time. The story, the music, the set pieces, James Barbour; where should they start? But don't worry, it's not all weeping-quietly-into-your-hands, dear listener.  Jon will ramble about immortal narrators and bipartates bitartrates. Joel will continue weeping though. Poor, poor Gavroche, collecting marbles outside the barricade. What was he thinking? It's just another dark day in 'TaT' episode 15: 'True Detective', season one. But hey, maybe next week they'll review 'Transformers: Age of Extinction'...
