Episode 34: 'Nightcrawler'

Prepare yourself for some sultry morning voices: the boys have been livin' it up collectively, inclusively, but now they're back to share the recent goings-on. On the discussion table this week is Dan Gilroy's directorial debut, film #49147, 'Nightcrawler', a film that you will love unless you don't like violence, gore, ethical dilemmas, manipulation, scandal, money, or power. More sensitive viewers should change channels now.

Meanwhile, Jon tries to make 'The Great Gatsby' references and talks up his delicious entry in a burger competition. Joel spends a day or two in his local amusement park, slowly succumbing to the brainwashing machine set on 'rinse cycle' that is Disneyland. Jon is disillusioned about work, Joel is disillusioned about flying cars, and there will be a fair amount of mustache-twirling on both sides. Business-speak, the American Dream, and the essence of humanity await you in episode thirty-four of 'Talk and Triv'.
